MCA to help boost Chinese ratio in civil service

KUALA LUMPUR: MCA Youth will help increase the Chinese ratio in the civil service.

Youth chief Datuk Liow Tiong Lai said a recruitment committee has been set up to identify vacancies in various departments in the Government and the information will be relayed to various Chinese areas.

“We will also alert them about the benefits and importance of government service,” he said.

Liow added the Youth wing had received overwhelming response from Chinese interested in joining the police force.

“Many have signed up to apply to be in the force. However, the recruitment will only begin next month,” he added
