Broom award: Act within the General Orders

THE public appreciates the move by the Selangor menteri besar to improve the civil service in the state and punish those who do not perform.

However, whatever action he takes against the officers must conform to the General Orders.

The General Orders do not stipulate the giving of brooms as a form of punishment. On this matter, I cannot support him.
